Salary Heavy Maintenance job:

• QAR 20-25 per hour

Job Duties and Summary:

• Avionics systems, such as navigation, communication, and electronic flight control systems, require regular and emergency maintenance.
• Find the source of the problem and determine how to fix it in the avionics system.
• Fix or replace broken avionics equipment such transceivers, radios, and radar detectors.
• Make sure safety and legal requirements are met by doing routine inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work performed.
• Maintain a current knowledge of avionics by reading relevant materials and taking courses as required.
• Maintain a high standard of safety when working on the aircraft so that downtime is kept to a minimum.

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance (including apprenticeship) and a diploma in aircraft maintenance, trade, or vocational aircraft maintenance, or a bachelor’s degree (B.Eng., BSc., etc.) or equivalent in aircraft engineering.
• Experience in avionics maintenance, preferably with the kinds of planes or systems used by Qatar Airways.
• A solid foundation in electronics, avionics, and aircraft maintenance is required.
• The ability to diagnose and repair problems with intricate avionics systems is essential.
• Familiarity with avionics tools and equipment is important for conducting maintenance duties.
• Maintaining strict adherence to safety measures is essential.
• The ability to coordinate and collaborate as part of a maintenance team is crucial for the timely and proper servicing of aircraft.
• Strong abilities in both spoken and written English communication.
