The Graymont is looking for a facility Operator to unload railcars, load trucks, and operate equipment at their Lamont, Alberta facility. Graymont provides a friendly, secure, and collaborative workplace with exceptional perks.

In times of heavy demand, the Terminal Operator may be asked to work seven days a week in shifts. Knowledge of basic repairs is a plus.

Graymont is a major supplier of lime and limestone to the North American market. Outside of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, there is a well-established business known as the Lamont Hydrating /Terminal, which has made pledges to be a good neighbor and protector of the environment.

Job Duties and Summary:

• Always follow accepted safety procedures.
• Roll the railcars’ contents into the silos.
• Put goods into trucks.
• Perform other forms of manual labor in and around the plant as required.

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

• At least 18 years old
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Effective team player with the ability to work independently.
• Be at ease working on roofs and other elevated surfaces
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to quickly adjust one’s behavior and approach to new situations
• Knowledge of mechanics is a plus. Preventive maintenance, light lubrication, and greasing are all
• part of the job, and previous experience in an industrial setting is preferable.
