Dala Decor is seeking a methodical and strategic individual to join our growing logistics and distribution team. This person will be responsible for operating all faucets in the Dala Decor Ottawa Warehouse and providing support to the Delivery Team under the supervision of the Director of Operations. Planning, stocking, delivering, scheduling, packing, and maintaining orders at a warehouse.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a team setting and displays excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. Salary Warehouse/Delivery Associate job:

• CAD 15-25 per hour

Job Duties and Summary:

• Putting goods in order using inventory management software
• Product loading and unloading, inspection, and reception according to established procedures.
• Working with internal and external logistics providers to monitor orders and keep teams informed so they can relay information to customers.
• Making ready deliveries or customer pick-ups by skidding and packing orders.
• Implementing barcode scanning and labeling for inventory management in enterprise resource planning
• Paying close attention to every detail when shipping and receiving to prevent product damage, and then following all applicable damage/claims procedures
• Using forklifts and other warehouse machinery to move skids and goods around a storage facility.
• Getting rid of old boxes helps keep things neat and tidy.
• Assisting our Staging department with set-ups and other organizational activities.
