Job Title:

• Classroom Assistant job

Salary Classroom Assistant job:

• AED 20-30 per hour

Job Duties and Summary:

• Participate in the development and execution of individualized education plans for students and assist in tracking their progress toward those goals.
• Assist students in developing their social skills and meeting additional assistance requirements, such as those associated with emotional and behavioral issues.
• Help classroom instructors keep track of student information
• Assemble and showcase student work
• Assist classroom instructors with photocopying and other clerical duties to enhance instruction
• Help achieve the school’s goals while also following all applicable health and safety regulations, laws, and policies.
• Be a model of punctuality, proper attire, and regular attendance.
• As needed, make it to team and staff meetings.
• Collaborate with other specialists, such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, etc., if needed
• Occasionally, as needed by the principal, perform additional tasks

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

• Academic support
• Carrying out individual lessons or group lessons as directed by the instructor
• Showing off a range of teaching techniques
• Keeping an eye on student work as it’s being completed—checking and making corrections as students work
• Keeping students engaged
• Reporting student progress to instructor and providing positive reinforcement for student accomplishments
• Taking attendance, sorting out supplies, and closing out the day
• Keeping an eye on students wherever they go
• Taking part in the creation of a conduct policy and encouraging students to value themselves
• Applying school-wide policies to the discipline of misconduct
