We are on the lookout for a skilled Fleet Preventative Maintenance Technician to complement our energetic staff. As part of your job description, you’ll be required to do routine maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles and machinery, including heavy-lift and light-duty trucks, as well as to travel with repair supplies to various locations. Preventative maintenance, vehicle inspections, and inventory management will all fall under your purview.

Job Duties and Summary:

  • Knowledgeable enough to spot potential dangers on the work place.
  • Proves adept at solving problems through mental processing and application.
  • Capable of reading, understanding, and picturing job build and all prints.
  • Operates machinery that contains live components or that could cause injury.
    In the path of vehicles.
  • Completes tasks while avoiding machinery that produce an excessive amount of noise, such as jackhammers, concrete saws, digger derricks, mini excavators, trenchers, and backhoes.
  • The risk of being exposed to extreme temperatures, reptiles or plants that toxic, and insects that can sting is high.

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

  • Minimum requirement: completion of high school or its equivalent.
  • Understanding when and how to schedule preventative maintenance
  • Having a certification from a trade school or vocational school is more desirable.
  • Two years of experience as a journeyman mechanic is necessary.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostic equipment for vehicles.
  • I have a knack for solving problems and pay close attention to detail.
  • Superb abilities in dealing with customers and communicating with them.
  • A current driver’s license is necessary.
  • A background and/or Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check must passed. This
