Job Duties and Summary:

• Direct the housekeeping staff
• Keep an eye on the washing machine
• Determine the current level of guest satisfaction and track any trends for the purpose of making improvements.
• Manage time effectively, keep costs down, and operate within departmental budgets.
• Make sure everyone on the staff is current on the different types of rooms and their features.
• Keep all hotel employees, as well as external customers and vendors, informed and on good terms at all times.
• Verify that personnel levels meet the needs of the company
• Consistent training should be provided. Hold regular communication sessions and make sure to generate minutes after each one.
• Oversee employee performance reviews in accordance with established business policy
• Hire, oversee, educate, and cultivate a housekeeping and laundry crew versed in property management software.
• Help out other divisions as needed

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

• Work history as a supervisor or manager of a big housekeeping or laundry crew in the hospitality, leisure, or retail industries
• Having completed high school or its equivalent
• Proficient at managing costs and a high degree of business acumen
• Proficient in P&L and previous departmental management
• Impressive abilities in leadership, interpersonal dynamics, and conveying ideas
• Guaranteeing excellent service to each and every one of our clients
• Capacity to multitask effectively
• Exceptional personal hygiene practices
• Adaptability to handle various work-related scenarios
• Advanced knowledge of computers and software, especially Microsoft Office; excellent time management, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• An enthusiasm for providing outstanding service to guests
