Inspect the doors as they being made to ensure quality. Perform a thorough check of all characteristics indicated on a drawing, including but not limited to: cutting, welding, grinding, assembly, and final inspection. In order to limit the amount of time spent on internal rework, it is important to report any necessary corrective action or suggested improvements while production is still underway and door rejections can still be avoided.

Salary Quality Inspector job:

• AED 15-25 per hour

Job Duties and Summary:

• Keep going Quality control checks performed throughout the production process of doors.
• Check and check the dimensions of sheet metals as per engineering drawing and indicate any variation.
• Metals welding should checked and verified in accordance with AWS/ASME section 9.
  Generate reports detailing quality inspections.
• Please report any products or processes that do not conform.
• Visit your suppliers and make sure they are providing you with high-quality goods.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and a culture of quality throughout all stages of production.
• Make sure that corrective and preventative measures are in place, and keep tabs on ongoing improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

• Proficient in all facets of the English language.
• Experience in welding inspection and sheet metal fabrication for a minimum of 4 years.
• Prior work experience in Door Manufacturing is a plus.
• Welding inspector certification highly desired.
• Skills in deciphering technical drawings.
