Job Duties and Summary:

• Sort, scan, and label components and tiny to medium sized items.
• Use our proprietary system, UPS, or the US Postal Service to generate shipping labels and other necessary paperwork.
• Allow forklift operators to unload and stage incoming freight by scanning and labeling it from a tractor-trailer.
• Use pallet jacks to aid with the manual loading of box trucks.
• Anchor boxes securely to pallets.
• Assembly of freshly marked shipments according to criteria such as city, location, code, etc.
• Make sure you record all damaged boxes using the correct methods and equipment.
• Construct the pallets in a way that safeguards the cargo and stops it from getting damaged.
• While loading and unloading freight, conduct an inventory count using packing slips.
• Keep the environment surrounding your workstation neat and tidy.
• Be familiar with and follow all protocols for the safe and effective handling of freight when lifting heavy objects.
• Additional tasks and assignments may be given by management for the warehouse.

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

• Higher Secondary Certificate or Its Equivalent
• Needs to be adaptable and willing to put in extra hours when called upon.
• Efficient and timely performance of duties and obligations
• An impressive record of regular attendance
• Encourages collaboration and joint endeavors
• Capable of adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying are all essential math skills.
• Requires excellent people skills
• Working under pressure and juggling several tasks is a must in a high-volume setting.
