Welcome to the Assistant Store Manager role at Lidl! We’re seeking Assistant Store Managers who are passionate about providing high-quality, low-price, and hassle-free shopping to our valued customers.

Team Leadership

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to lead and motivate your store team, ensuring they perform at their best every day.

Customer Service

  • Provide top-notch customer service, being the go-to person for all customer needs.

Starting pay

  • $30.50 per hour.

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and enhance store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement.

Project Management

  • Lead critical team projects, including weekly promotional store sets and routine re-merchandising.

Operational Support

  • Offer hands-on assistance with various operational tasks, such as cash management, stock management, cleaning, and other essential store functions.

Employee Well-Being

  • Create a safe, positive, and productive work environment for all store employees, in alignment with company and legal policies and procedures.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you’ll need the following:

  • Age requirement: Must be 21 years or older.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of management experience OR a bachelor’s degree.
  • Drive: A determination to complete tasks on time, meet store targets, and maximize productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to handle tense situations with patience.
  • Physical Agility: Readiness to actively participate in daily store operations, which includes lifting, moving, carrying, or sliding products over 50 pounds and reaching heights greater than 10 inches.
  • Certification: The ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification.
