Salary Civil Maintenance Engineer job:

• QAR 15-25 per hour

Job Duties and Overview:

• In order to keep buildings, foundations, columns, beams, roofs, walls, water proofing, and other civil structures in good working order, you must create and implement a thorough maintenance plan.
• Identify maintenance needs, evaluate structural integrity, and verify conformance with safety standards and building codes with frequent or periodic inspections.
• Any discrepancies found during the inspections must be reported in writing to the Line Manager immediately.
• To ensure timely maintenance and safety, you’ll need to coordinate and monitor maintenance and repair activities including writing/reviewing work method statements, setting up schedules, and overseeing contractors and personnel.
• Conduct repairs, installations, and troubleshooting as needed, and then instruct other team members and service providers on how to do the same.
• Create and oversee a preventive maintenance plan to increase equipment life and cut down on costly breakdowns.
• Make a record of all equipment and assets, including their performance, maintenance, and warranty information.
• In order to keep up with civil maintenance needs, it is important to do routine visual inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and other infrastructure.
• React quickly to maintenance requests and crises, conduct thorough investigations, and correctly identify problems.
• Find creative answers to maintenance problems and put those answers into action to guarantee your assets work at their highest level.
• Determine the causes of equipment and system failures and take corrective action to stop them from happening again.
• Effectively deliver maintenance requirements, specs, and project updates to internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers through clear and concise communication.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Civil engineering undergraduate degree.
• Expertise in engineering, building codes, maintenance procedures, structural soundness, utility systems, and fire protection.
• Proven track record in the care and upkeep of already-constructed and occupied structures (the built environment), with an emphasis on the civil components of such tasks.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings of all types and in all fields
• Proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) tools, maintenance management software, and other appropriate software.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; meticulous in attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage numerous projects at once, as well as excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with other team members, clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Knowledge of and dedication to complying with all relevant safety regulations.
• Required Minimum Experience: 10+ Years
