Job Duties and Summary:
- Always act in a kind and welcoming manner.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask is a must for meeting departmental deadlines.
- Maintain an attitude of friendliness, attentiveness, and service orientation in all interactions with guests and staff.
- Make it to every training and meeting that the hotel requires.
- The needs of the hotel will determine the schedule requirements, although frequent attendance in accordance with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards is needed.
- Needs to be good at handling difficulties, which includes being able to predict, avoid, identify, and solve them when they arise.
- Appropriate goals necessitate the ability to comprehend and implement complicated information, data, etc. from a variety of sources.
- Competence in multiple hotel-related sectors is a must.
- Confidentiality of information must be maintained.
- Possess strong initiative, especially the ability to foresee potential demands from guests or operations.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors.
Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant
- Ensure that the food is of high quality.
- Gather ingredients and cook according to the menu items.
- Keep the kitchen and all of the equipment clean.
- Keep the kitchen neat and tidy so that you can produce a lot of food.
- Ensure that food is handled and stored in a sanitary manner.
- Find fresh produce, seafood, dairy, and meats that meet your quality criteria.
- Collaborate with the head chef and sous chef to plan banquets and fulfill special requests.
- In order to ensure the safety of food and its storage, you must adhere to all company and health department laws.
- Familiarize yourself with the steps involved in properly submitting a request.
