Salary Crew Rostering Officer job:

• QAR 15–25 per hour

Job Duties and Summary:

• Plan and create crew rosters in accordance with QCAA laws and requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Help evaluate “what if” scenarios using rosters.
• In order to find the “best” answer within the constraints of the present roster planning period, it is necessary to construct multiple roster scenarios.
• Maintain a regular schedule for creating rosters.
• Maximize the harmony between key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilization goals with the help of the Jeppesen Crew Rostering (JCR) system.
• Pre-assignments for the rosters should be processed (with the exception of leave and training) before the rosters are built.
• Notify the Chief Officer if any roster information (including information from the Crew Resources team) is delayed beyond the planned time frame.

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

• Minimum of three years’ relevant work experience in addition to a high school diploma or equivalent (kind of diploma depending on role), or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant work experience
• Rostering experience or familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to manage crews and optimize rosters.
• Competence in planning and addressing problems.
• Familiarity with flight time limits and other regulations is a plus.
• competency in the methods used to construct crew rosters.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• a proven record of success in a team setting.
• Proven experience working with a wide variety of people and maintaining positive rapport.
