Job Duties and Summary:

• Have worked with advanced electron microscopy, ptychography, or synchrotron X-ray microscopy before.
• Having worked with synchrotron applications to EES subjects before, I have expertise creating training materials, running workshops, and mentoring others.
• Proficiency in developing and managing software packages in Python.

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

• Doctorate in geochemistry, environmental, environmental science, or a closely related field (such as low-temperature geochemistry, marine, or aquatic chemistry).
• Advanced education in the use of synchrotron methods for EES material research of at least three years is required.
• Demonstrated scientific publication record.
• Proven ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a range of contexts, including but not limited to: one-on-one conversations, group work, written reports, and presentations.
• Capacity to collaborate with and keep professional ties with colleagues and collaborators in the scientific field.
• Able to juggle multiple tasks at once and still provide high-quality results on time.
• Proficient in organizing and addressing problems.
