We have an opening on our team for a general Laborer. The General Laborer is responsible for a wide variety of tasks, from setting up and running cut-off saws to painting and checking parts. The ideal candidate will be skilled in painting and running machinery and have a keen eye for detail. The hours for this employment are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (first shift).

Job Responsibilities

Below are the essential job roles and responsibilities that you will have to perform:

• Conduct all necessary quality assurance tests. Plan out components on aluminum sheet with the aid of a variety of measuring tools (blueprint, tape, scribe, combination square, compass, protractor, etc.).
• Arrange and scribe edge features of components as instructed by plans.
• Bandsaw cuts along scribed lines
• Measure and check with callipers.
• Check saws for low hydraulic and coolant fluid, replace dull blades, clean filters, etc.
• Use 5S and maintain a tidy workplace.
• Find and retrieve components using the daily dispatch report and the blueprint.

Job Requirements or Eligibility Criteria

Job requirements or eligibility criteria that the candidate has to meet are as follows:

• Diploma or GED required
• Machine Operator with 2 years of experience in automotive or comparable application painting
