Job Duties and Summary:
- Manage inventory management process and strategy improvement for assigned group of departments through analysis of factors affecting department and item performance; identification of opportunities and gaps; development of solutions to address opportunities and gaps; recommendation of system settings that support the department strategy and align with business plans and financial goals; collaboration with key stakeholders to gain alignment for recommendations.
- Solve difficult business issues by analyzing massive, unorganized information and making timely, impactful business decisions. Establish benchmarks to track and measure the results of your efforts. Analysis of the underlying factors
- Collaborate with leadership at the category or department level to make recommendations for model and process change that would apply only to that level; work with key stakeholders to put processes and tools into place; make recommendations for improvements to process and tools based on results in category group or department.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; assist in the execution of plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; establish and communicate goals and objectives; establish and measure accountability for results; pinpoint and address areas for improvement.
- Mentor employees, delegate tasks, show appreciation, celebrate achievements, hire and educate new employees, and promote an environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.
