Essential Duties: Running skill groups aimed at assisting clients in reaching their treatment objectives will constitute the bulk of your work as an associate of our team.
Ensuring client safety, keeping healthy boundaries, and accurately recording services will also fall within your purview. Furthermore, you will work closely with clinical personnel to coordinate care and provide direct support to our clients. In addition, you may be asked to join clients on enjoyable recreational excursions. Additionally, you will be expected to keep the daily calendar up-to-date, complete headcounts and shift check-off lists as required, and attend staff meetings and educational programs.

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant

• Minimum age requirement: 21
• Certification in CPR and First Aid (or training given if not)
• Give a damn about folks
• Being open to new information and willing to obtain certification in peer support (we can assist you in this matter)
• Previous experience in a therapeutic setting dealing with adults is an asset.
• Passionate in assisting new clients in their journeys to recovery, whether it is from mental health issues, substance abuse, or simply interacting with individuals or groups
• Ready to provide clients with their medication
• To employed in the United States
• Vaccinate against influenza, tuberculosis, and COVID-19 (with religious or medical exemptions considered)
  Sobriety for a year
• Jobs with Odyssey House may involve driving company vehicles. Annual Motor Vehicle Registrations will be reviewed by Odyssey House to confirm driver
