All products are received, processed, prepared, wrapped, sliced, weighed, marked, and packaged by team members. Shelves, cases, and bins are kept neat and beautiful, and displays are appropriately signed.

Job Duties and Summary:

• All positions at GIANT/MARTIN’S stores require providing excellent customer service. Customers served by each role might range from consumers to coworkers to vendors to business acquaintances.
• Takes in goods, sorts them, boils them, slices them, weighs them, labels them, and finally puts them in a package.
• Stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating products (usually weighing less than 30 lbs.) are all part of maintaining optimal shelf, case, and display conditions.
• Keep the correct temperature and humidity in the cooler while you code, rotate, sort, and clean product cases (which can weigh more than
• 20 lbs., and on rare occasions as much as 50 lbs.).
• Keep the work surface, utensils, and equipment in the prep area clean and sanitary at all times.
• Respect all applicable laws and ordinances pertaining to the deli area, whether they be federal, state, or municipal.
• Sweep and mop the sales floor as needed to keep it clean and safe.
• Serve customers with the utmost friendliness and politeness. Ability to provide information, offer suggestions, and sell things through persuasion is a must.
• Keep one’s personal appearance neat and tidy at all times and dress in accordance with business guidelines.
• Upon their addition to the learning page, ELM training modules must be completed.

Minimum Requirements/About the Applicant
